Rather than guessing what your final result will look like, Dr. Morad uses DSD to create a precise digital model of your ideal smile, mapped to your face, lips, and natural bite, so you can see and approve your new smile before a single tooth is touched.
DSD is the process. The materials, such as veneers, crowns, or other restorations, are chosen based on your individual needs and goals.
We begin by capturing detailed photos and video of your smile while you speak and smile naturally. This allows us to analyze your smile line, lip movement, and facial proportions. You will also share photos of smiles you admire to help us understand your aesthetic vision.
Using the DSD software, Dr. Morad digitally maps and redesigns each tooth to achieve ideal proportions and harmony with your face. You will see a preview of your future smile on screen and have the opportunity to refine it together.
Based on the approved digital design, our team can create a physical wax-up and/or temporaries as a placeholder that can be tried on before final fabrication. This test drive lets you experience your new smile before any permanent work begins.
Once you are completely satisfied with the design, we finalize the blueprint. By this point, there are no surprises. You know exactly what your smile will look like and what the treatment involves.

Yes, you will be able to physically try on your newly designed teeth before we fabricate the official restorations. The process begins with analyzing any problems you have with your smile. Then, you will select photos of people whose smiles you like.
Then, we will combine your input and the photos you have chosen and use our sophisticated digital software program custom-tailor your new smile. We will adjust your teeth by correcting any misalignment, chips, discoloration, and other aesthetic issues you want to address.
Once you are satisfied with the end design of your digital smile, we will create a wax mock-up of these teeth in the office and then we will make one out of acrylic that you can physically try on. You will be able to tell us if you’re happy with the fit and appearance of your teeth or if you want any adjustments.
We will continue to make adjustments to your tooth restorations until you are 100% satisfied. Then, we will finalize the design and begin fabricating the official restorations.
