Maria Muratalla
Dental Hygienist
Our full-time Hygienist, Maria, comes with over 25 years of experience. She ran a full hygiene department in her previous dental office and is LASER certified. Maria is always laughing and talking with patients. She is an amazing Hygienist with limitless ambition. She has two daughters and several grandchildren who are the love of her life. She rides to the office on her cute bike, and loves swimming, cooking, and fishing with her boyfriend. Speaks English and Spanish.
Ana Espinoza
Dental Hygienist
Ana is our hygienist with over 20 years of experience caring for the oral health of patients. She’s a quick learner and has adapted quickly to the newest hygiene technology. Her gentle approach and friendly demeanor is appreciated by our patients. Outside of work, she generously spends time working at Stanford Hospital with palliative care patients.
Lety Cruz
Dental Assistant
Lety has been Dr. Morad's Dental Assistant since 2003. They started together in the old San Carlos office. She is one of the most upbeat, caring people. She and Dr. Morad have enjoyed so many laughs with their patients over the years. Lety lives in Redwood City with her family. She is a pet lover who has had multiple pets from hamsters to several cats and dogs. She is creative and is always busy repainting, redecorating and building stuff around the house.
Pong Thongsavanh
Lead Dental Assistant
Pong has been a dedicated dental assistant for over 10 years, finding her passion for dentistry and patient care early on. Her ambition and love for learning led her to become a registered dental assistant and later a lead assistant. She stays motivated by keeping up with the latest dental technologies, including digital printing and scanning. Outside of work, Pong enjoys hiking, yoga, and cooking delicious Thai dishes—something the office is always happy to enjoy!
Kathleen Umlas
Financial Coordinator
Kathleen started her career as a Dental Assistant. She then shifted roles to a Front Desk Manager and worked at a San Mateo practice for 10 years before starting with us in our San Carlos office. She has three kids, and she loves fashion and Karaoke. Kathleen speaks Tagalog and English.
Ani Navarrete
Patient Coordinator
Ani has over 15 years experience in the dental field. She worked at general dentistry offices as well as specialty offices. She is the main friendly voice that you hear on the phone when you call for appointments. Ani prides herself in her ability to take care of our patients in a very warm, efficient way and to make sure that they feel welcomed the second they walk through the door.
Outside of work, Ani enjoys the beautiful nature of the Bay Area as well as the variety of the international cuisines that it has to offer.
Adriana Alvarez
Patient Coordinator
Adriana has been in the dental field for seven years, gaining experience in both front and back office roles. She’s passionate about dentistry and hopes to pursue a career in dental hygiene one day. A proud mom of two, Adriana loves planning and decorating themed parties, baking delicious treats, and spending quality time with her family. Whether she’s enjoying outdoor activities or a good movie night, she always brings warmth and creativity to everything she does. She’s also fluent in Spanish, making her a great resource for our Spanish-speaking patients!
